Racism as a new Hell

As we are abandoning formal Christianity, but keeping fundamental Christian values,
we have replaced The Hell with The Racism (and Devil with Hitler).
But there is a problem:
Nobody really wanted to go to Hell.
But what do you answer to someone, who says: "Am I a racist ? So what ?"

Abychom nezapomněli

V souvislosti s bouráním starých soch mne napadl jeden židovský příběh.
Je to asi takhle:

Během války, v New Yorku pan Kohn, emigrant z nacistického Německa, navštíví pana Roubíčka, jiného emigranta.
A v jeho bytě spatří na zdi Hitlerův portrét.
Pan Kohn nechápe, a samozřejmě se zeptá, jak je to možné, že on, Žid, má na zdi takový obraz.
A odpověď pana Roubíčka je ve skutečnosti logická:
Toho pana mám na zdi, abych nezapomněl, proč jsem musel utéct.

Možná bychom měli že stejného důvodů zachovat i některé sochy lidí, kteří nám nejsou zrovna sympatičtí.

Abychom nezapomněli.

Slave Trade Comparison

Far more white slaves were brought to Africa than black slaves to America. Not even mentioning black slaves in Arab countries. Slavery was common in Ottoman empire till its end. The last country has abolished slavery in 2007, it was Mauretania.

Dynamiting the History

No, that is not about the Good guys and Bad guys.

That is about wiping out History you don't like.

Anti-racist Paradox

Those fanatical crowds are in their holy anti-racist zeal fighting exactly against that civilization which has done more against the racism than all other civilizations together.

They are certainly even not aware of how much they are the heirs of the two thousand years of European history. That human beings have rights; that they are born equal; that they are owed sustenance, and shelter, and refuge from persecution: these were never self-evident truths, except in Europe.

Europeans have not invented slavery and racism, we have invented abolition and universal human rights.
