Proc chci americkou radarovou zakladnu v Cesku ?

Je nutne jasne rici oba duvody: Obecny vojensky duvod: Myslim, ze neni pochyby o tom, ze drive ci pozdeji nektere teroristicka skupina nebo zeme zvladne jadernou technologii - a pouzije ji. Nevime, kdo to bude. Muze to byt Iran, Pakistan nebo nekdo jiny. S pripravou obrany nemuzeme cekat, az raketa vyleti. Neni jiste, jestli americky protiraketovy system bude fungovat. Ale je jasne, bude fungovat lepe, nez system zadny. Cesky strategicky duvod: Radar bude fungovat i kdyz nebude v Cesku ale v nektere sousedni zemi. Pro Cesko je ale dulezita existence americke vojenske zakladny. Jedine americka pritomnost ochrani Cesko pred znovuzrozenou imperialni chuti Ruska. Rusko byla nejvetsi imperialni mocnost 20teho stoleti (jak je videt z mapy ruskych kolonii). Cesko se mohlo zbavit ruske okupace jen diky docasnemu oslabeni imperia. Rusko se ale opet zveda a chova se cim dal agresivneji. A jeste vzkaz panu Gorbacovovi: Ano, radar ma Cesko chranit i proti Rusku. A Vy se divite ?

Sarkozy, pourquoi il perd ?

Sarkozy a tenté de convaincre les électeurs de droite qu'il effectue les réformes et les électeurs de gauche qu'il ne le fait pas. Mais l'effet est exactement le contraire. Ses partisans sont profondément déçus par l'absence de réformes radicales (qui ont été promis pendant la campagne). Les gauches l'déteste, peu importe ce qu'il fait. C'est l'instinct de la gauche française: la gauche = bien (l'extrême gauche = très bien), la droite = Le Mal.

Sarkozy devrait cesser d'essayer de séduire ceux qui l'haïssent et de commencer à mettre en œuvre ses promesses de réforme. Il ne reste plus beaucoup de temps !

Athenaeum with Cool Payloads

New mini-release of Athenaeum contains testing parameter files for LAr Cool payloads encrypted by Root&Pool. Those files are available from the Athenaeum/src/net/hep/atlas/Core/Athenaeum/Test directory within Athenaeum distribution (you can download it or get it from the CERN Java repository in /afs/cern.ch/sw/lcg/external/Java/Athenaeum.

All those files can be tested in CERN using following commands:

Within complete Athenaeum distribution, complete test can be performed with ant check command.

Athenaeum command has been described in another post.

(currently unavailable) Note, that JAS3-based graphical client (or simple athenaeum command) is more suitable than Web Service for browsing detailed payloads. While Web Service makes browsing simpler (there is nothing to install), running within Web Client poses additional restrictions to the available memory and bandwidth.

New GraXML Features

I have released a new minor version of GraXML. Besides bug-fixes, it has two new features: Right-click on objects in TreeView pops up menu with graphical operations applicable to associated geometrical object. User can choose one or several objects. Only leafs are supported. Some items perform directly the operation (like making object transparent or wireframe), Picking selects object for further actions (like changing of color via top-right panel). More actions will be added later, including interactions with associated programs (e.g.Atlantis). User can show a scene floor, which is placed below the scene. User using WebStart to call GraXML will get this new version automatically on next call. Both GraXML Web Start and Atlantis+GraXML Web Start are updated.

Ayaan Hirsi Ali a Francie

Ucastnil jsem se meetingu s Ayaan Hirsi Ali v Parizi. O meeting byl veliky zajem, do salu se veslo cca 200 navstevniku + cca 100 VIPu. Dalsich asi 800 lidi muselo zustat venku.

Ayaan prislo podporit mnoho vyznamnych lidi: Segolen Royal (minula a budouci kandidatka na presidentku Francie), Philipe Vals (sefredaktor Charlie Hebdo - publikoval danske karikatury Mahomeda), Rama Yade (ministrine pro lidska prave, puvodem z Afriky),... Proti Ayaan otevrene vystupuje pouze extremni levice (vetsinou trockisti). Sarkozy se bohuzel zdraha poskytnout Ayaan obcanstvi. Zda se, ze se boji o obchody s muslimskymi zememi. Snazi se to organizovat pres Brusel/EU. Je ale na nej velky tlak, protoze pred volbami prohlasil: "A chaque femme martyrisée dans le monde, je veux dire que la France offre sa protection en lui donnant la possibilité de devenir française" = "Kazde mucene zena na svete chci rici, ze Francie ji poskytne ochranu tim, ze ji da moznost stat se francouskou."

Cesti komuniste se nezblaznili

Oni velice dobre vedi co delaji. Je jim jasne, ze zadny jejich kandidat vyhrat nemuze. Pri volbe chteji proste pro sebe ziskat co nejvetsi vyhody. Kandidatura pani Bobosikove je velice jasny signal podporovatelum pana Svejnara: Jestli se s nami nebudete bavit, vaseho kandidata potopime. Je to licitace, komunisti jsou ochotni podporit jakehokoliv kandidata vymenou za ustupky.

A proc to dela pani Bobosikova ? Dobre vi, ze presidentkou zvolena nebude. Ale prece nezahodi moznost promluvit v nejsledovanejsim programu Ceske Televize.

New Athenaeum command available

New Athenaeum command allows to run standard Athenaeum tasks on the server. User doesn't have to supply her Python script, she can use the standard one (which is contained in the Athenaeum applications and used in JAS3 plugin and JSP Web Service). User only supplies her options script. There are several standard tasks currently supplied: Cool, Event, Fork, Info and Restart. Simple results are returned as Strings, more complex results as XML fragments.

Athenaeum is installed within CERN AFS cell, user can use, for example, following commands:

Outside CERN, user has to install Athenaeum and replace athenaeum alias with full command: java -jar ${ATHENAEUM_HOME}/lib/AthenaeumExt.exe.jar. He has probably to set up an SSH tunnel to the Athenaeum server as well, like this: ssh -L54324:voatlas16.cern.ch:54324 user@voatlas16.cern.ch

(currently unavailable) All Athenaeum functionality is available via graphical clients which can be installed and run using Web Start. If you have correctly integrated Java 1.5 or 1.6 with you browser, that link will install and start Athenaeum client or you machine (Linux, MS or MacOSX). You may also do it with following command: javaws http://cern.ch/hrivnac/Activities/Packages/WebStart/JAS3/jas3.jnlp.

Simplified Athenaeum version is also available as a JSP Web Service.

La nationalité française et la protection pour Ayaan Hirsi Ali

A chaque femme martyrisée dans le monde, je veux dire que la France offre sa protection en lui donnant la possibilité de devenir française. N.Sarkozy Environ 200 personnes pouvaient participer (plus environ 100 VIP). 800 sont restés dehors. Tout le monde a soutenu la demande de la nationalité française et de la protection pour Ayaan. Malheureusement, Rama Yade, ne pouvait pas l'annoncer, il semble que Mr.Sarkozy hésite. Je pense que la France devrait être heureux que personne comme Ayaan Hisri Ali veut devenir français et ne doit pas hésiter une minute. Tajne Volby !

Tajne Volby ! Vzpominate ? To jsme skandovali v listopadu 1989. Komuniste totiz pouzivali verejnost volby na kontrolu svych obcanu. Nepripomina vam to neco ? Zda se, ze velka cast poslancu uz zapomnela. Nebo uz v roce 1989 nepatrili mezi skandujici, ale mezi ty, jak se tehdy zdalo, odchazejici.

Je dobre si pripomenout, ze poslanci jsou v Parlamanetu sami za sebe a maji hlasovat podle vlastniho svedomi (tak nejak to stoji i v Ustave). Nikdo tedy nema pravo jim prikazovat koho maji volit - a pri volbe je kontrolovat. Presvedcovani (nekteri rikaji natlak) je naopak scela legitimni. Ostatne vsichni maji moznost presvedcovat ostatni - rika se tomu politicka diskuse. V opacnem pripade je uplny Parlament zcela zbytecny. Uplne postaci, kdyz v nem bude za kazdou stranu sedet jeden zastupce a jeho hlas bude vazen vysledkem jeho strany v poslednich volbach. Parlament bude pouze registrovat usneseni stranickych sekretariatu. Bude to prehlednejsi, a levnejsi.

Namitka, ze pri verejne volbe mohli obcane kontrolovat sve zastupce, take neobstoji. Tuto moznost nemeli v patek a sobotu obcane, meli ji pouze partajni sefove.
