Why Trump does what he does (in Ukraine)

Why Trump does what he does (in Ukraine):

  1. He upholds the business definition of truth and morality: the truth is what we ultimately agree on, the resulting agreement is moral by definition because both sides agreed to it.
  2. He is convinced that the strong decide, the weak obey. Ukraine is weaker than Russia, so they should obey.
  3. The basis of all relations for him is business and he feels that he will be able to do more business with Russia than with Ukraine.
  4. He probably really does not like brute, direct physical violence.
  5. He probably instinctively objects to the destruction of real estate.
  6. He wants to appear as a peacemaker, at any cost.
  7. He is completely ignorant in international relations, as are his negotiators.
We must realize that Trump admires power.
That's why he always bows down to those he considers stronger. Xi, Mamdani,... and Putin.
Trump admires Putin... and envies him.
