Quantum Gender Strings

It looks like strings can freely choose their gender too. Well, being quantum objects, they can certainly be in a state of a superposition of many genders. But what happens when they interact with another object ? Decoherence and a definitive choice of a single gender :-)
Or, is "gender" a new quantum number ?

Two Germanies

A contribution to the discussions about the claim, that differences between East and West part of Germany are a consequence of communism.
This is how Germans voted for NSDAP before the War. The darker color means the stronger support for NSDAP.

And a possible explanation - an anti-correlation between the support for the Nazis and the proportion of the Catholics.
